Air Purification
Air purification – use of activated carbon (AC) allows for adsorbing hazardous gases and other undesirable substances from the air to a remarkable extent, most commonly used in shopping centers, airports, restaurants, laboratories, hospitals, wastewater treatment plants, etc. It is also widely applied in filtration of low concentrations of harmful gases (nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, ozone, organic compounds from various exhaust of cars, trains and other transportation means and so on) in the supply air system in cities. The AC material and related systems are utilized for industrial air treatment in order to capture toxic air pollutants from petrochemical plants, landfill sites, manufacturing operations, and chemical processing facilities.
